Increased exposure to formaldehyde in cheap MDF

Are you sure the MDF you are buying is E1, not low-cost E2? The cheaper E2 grade contains a higher concentration of the harmful formaldehyde which is released when the material is cut. The HSE recommends selecting the E1 grade where formaldehyde emission is rated as negligible.

As a responsible supplier to the education sector, it is needless to say that you can rest assured that all MDF supplied by Timberite is Grade E1.
